Mark
Ramser
Mr.
Ramser was born in Mount Vernon in 1954, grew up near Jelloway, and
attended school at Loudonville. After graduation from The Ohio State
University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science of Business Administration
degree, majoring in accounting, he worked for Kraft Foods as a corporate
auditor from 1975 through 1980. A business opportunity to purchase Ohio
Cumberland Gas Company and to work with his father, brought him back to
Knox County in 1980. Since 1987, Ramser has been president of Ohio
Cumberland Gas Company, which provides natural gas service to
residential, commercial, and industrial customers in six counties in
central Ohio.
During
the past 25 years, Ramser’s life has focused on family, business, and
community involvement. He and his wife Denise have three children:
Betsy, Russell and Hayley. Tennis and community activities are his
avocations.
Mr. Ramser’s current
