Robert H. McGaughy

Mr. McGaughy retired from Licking Memorial Hospital in 1999. Positions he held at Licking Memorial include Director of Personnel, and Vice President of Human Resources and Development. His professional career also included service as the Assistant Director and Business Officer of The Ohio State University at Newark, and served concurrently as Treasurer and Business Officer at Central Ohio Technical College. He has been a member of The Ohio State University at Newark Board of Trustees since 2001.

Mr. McGaughy is a graduate of the Newark City Schools, The Ohio State University College of Business Administration, and The Ohio State University College of Education.

Mr. McGaughy's current memberships and associations include: The Allocations Committee, Newark Campus Development Fund; Par Excellence School Member and Past President, Newark Rotary Club; Member and Past President, Newark Rotary Club; Member and current President, Licking County Leave a Legacy; Member and current President, Newark Rotary Club Foundation; Member and current Chairman, Licking Memorial Hospital Development Council; Member and current President, Campus View Village Corporation; and, District Governor Nominee 2003-2004, Rotary District 6690.

Mr. McGaughy was born in Newark, Ohio. He is married to Patricia E. McGaughy and their children include; son Patrick and daughter-in-law Tammy, who live in Florida; and, daughter Meredith and son-in-law Mark Cherubini who live near Utica, Ohio. Mr. McGaughy and his wife Patricia have four grandchildren.

Mr. McGaughy's special interests include reading, computers, airplanes, American History, writing, open wheel racing (Indy cars, CART and Formula One), travel, and grandchildren Mariah & Dominick Cherubini and Emily & Christopher McGaughy. He has a Golden Retriever named Shalimar.
