First Year Experience (FYE) Program

The purpose of the First Year Experience program is to engage first year students by providing academic and social programs that create a strong collegiate tone at the start of their Newark campus experience, to impart students with a sense of tradition and ownership, and afford the valuable opportunity for new students, faculty and staff to interact outside of the classroom.  First Year Experience programming consists of: Orientation, Success Seminar, Columbus campus road trips, (speakers, social and athletic events), and campus speakers geared towards leadership training, career and major exploration. Students should contact the Office of Student Life in the Warner Center, room 226, 366-9443 to receive more detailed information.
