First Year Experience (FYE) Program

The purpose of the First Year Experience program is to engage first year students by providing academic and social programs that create a strong collegiate tone at the start of their Newark campus experience, to impart students with a sense of tradition and ownership, and afford the valuable opportunity for new students, faculty and staff to interact outside of the classroom.  First Year Experience programming consists of: Orientation, Success Seminar, Columbus campus road trips, (speakers, social and athletic events), and campus speakers geared towards leadership training, career and major exploration.
