Tutoring Center
FREE tutoring is one of the most popular programs on
campus. Students wanting two hours of help per week for any course are placed
with a tutor who has earned a "B" or better and been recommended by faculty
member. All tutors are trained in a nationally accredited program. A form to
request a tutor is on the following page. For faculty, there is a copy of the
Tutor Recommendation Form used to recommend a student for training as an
accredited tutor. Prompt faculty attention is the key to our providing timely
service to the students. Tutoring Center
Testing Center
First priority for space in the Testing Center is
reserved for administering tests to students with documented
disabilities. Their accommodations may include extended time,
soundproof room, a reader or a scribe. A student must present the
instructor with a signed accommodation form from the Office for
Disability Services. The Testing Lab contains two soundproof rooms
for use by student who require a distraction-free environment. All
tests may be scheduled by stopping by Hopewell 53 or by calling to
schedule an appointment with the Testing Center Coordinator.
