COTC Appeals Process:

COTC students have the right to appeal issues which include matters of final course grades, academic suspension or probation, academic dishonesty, dismissal from a program or course, financial aid decisions concerning standards of academic progress and results of grievance.

Once a student is aware of a difficulty with the decision of a faculty member, an administrator, or a college office, the student should first refer the matter to the Dean of Students office.  The Dean of Students or his/her designee will review the appeals process and corresponding appeals form with the student.
