Welcome to Career Services at the Newark Campus

Central Ohio Technical College/The Ohio State University-Newark will host a Job Fair on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the Newark Campus.  The job fair is devoted to effectively connecting area employers with well-qualified candidates at one event. The Ohio State University-Newark and Central Ohio Technical College are two separate schools located in Newark.  Students from both schools will attend the job fair to seek employment and internship opportunities.

The students from our campus have both broad-based and technically-focused academic foundations.  This provides a great opportunity for business, institutional and government employers to meet well-prepared students from many disciplines. 

The job fair is open to employers recruiting for positions within their own organization.  You may wish to coordinate your exhibit with other departments in your organization interested in attending.  Registration is free; a light lunch will be provided to exhibitors.

Each exhibitor will be provided with an eight-foot table and chairs.  Please specify if your exhibit requires electricity.   There are a limited number of electricity-accessible spaces and videocassette players (1/2”), which are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please let us know if we can assist with other logistical needs.
