Violation List

Drivers not complying with the traffic and parking regulations are subject to assessment of fines payable in person or by mail to the Fees & Deposits Office within five days after being cited. Any appeal must be submitted in writing within the same five days. Appeal forms may be obtained from the Fees & Deposits Office or the Public Safety Office in Hopewell Hall. The following is a list of violations of Newark Campus Traffic and Parking regulation:

(B) Parking on grass, obstructing traffic, blocking driveway, along yellow curb or driveways, or in a loading zone	$20.00
(C) Parking within 30 feet of a stop sign, 20 feet of a crosswalk, in a safety zone, or within 12 inches of another vehicle	$20.00
4. Parking in a disabled parking area or slot without a proper permit	$55.00
5. Unauthorized use of a permit	$36.00
6. Defacing, reproducing or using a revoked or stolen permit	$36.00
7. Failure to display permit	$6.00

9. Careless operation (including but not limited to speeding, failure to stop or yield, or losing traction)	$50.00
