The Ohio State University at Newark

Greenhouse - The research lab has a small greenhouse facility, complete with sinks, growing shelves, etc.

Woodland Habitat Enclosure - Dr. Jose Cabral (OSUN Chemistry) and I are in the process of renovating a small courtyard at Baker Hall into a woodland habitat enclosure that can be subdivided as needed into multiple, temporary mesocosms important for a variety of behavioral research projects in the Roberts Lab. Simultaneously, the creation of a woodland enclosure will provide protected garden plots for chemical ecology projects in the Cabral Lab (cultivation of native plants for extraction of medicinal compounds). Dr. Cabral also maintains a garden plot behind Baker Hall for rearing sun-tolerant, prairie plants for his research.

Electronics - A wide variety of professional
and "prosumer" grade electronic equipment, specialized
software for video/audio capture and data analysis, as well as basic entomology
and ecology field equipment will be available either directly at the lab
facility or on a checkout basis to meet the requirements of multiple
avenues of research. Some of that equipment is pictured below, and
includes; miniDV camcorders and VTR, digital cameras, infrared capable
surveillance cameras, stereomicroscopes equipped with digital imaging,
laser-doppler vibrometer, laptop, ethernet connections, laser printer,
etc.
If your project has specialized requirements, I will make every effort
to purchase or arrange access to that equipment.
