Instructional Design and Consulting
Assist with developing pedagogically sound strategies and documentation/materialsfor teaching
and learning. Many people have great ideas on ways to integrate
technology into teaching and learning, but not always
sure how to get it done. The instructional designer and telCenter staff is open and willing to
assist with these efforts by researching and helping to create a
solution with you.
Faculty and Staff Programming (Workshops, Trainings, Webinars)
Professional development workshops, trainings, webinars and tutorials
are offered each quarter. Check out the Workshops and Tutorials section of this site for more
information.
Online Course Development and Delivery
Provide support for faculty and staff using
Carmen (OSU) or
WebCT(COTC) learning management systems.
Technology Experimentation and Pilots
Provide an environment to explore emerging
technologies and support ideas for pilot projects.
Web Design and Development
Assist with creating and maintaining your faculty
webpage or we can show you how to maintain the page yourself.
Copyright/Fair Use Advisement
With the development of digital projects, many need
advice on the copyright and fair use guidelines. The telCenter works
very closely with the library staff to provide assistance in this area.
Grant Assistance
Often there is a need to incorporate
technology information into a grant application/proposal. The telCenter is willing to assist and provide recommendations on proper
technological pieces.
Audio/Video/Graphic Production Services
With a full-time Digital Media Technician on staff, the telCenter offers, at a minimum, the following services:

Video tape special events, class lectures, etc and edit as necessary

Audio and Video Streaming to our Real Streaming Server

Podcasting assistance

Digitize VHS or DVD materials for delivery via CD, DVD, Web, or Streaming Server
