Hardware

Faculty members get a standard computer setup. Full time faculty have a choice of either a laptop or desktop, and part time faculty get a standard desktop setup with a flat panel monitor. For a more detailed description of the setup see Hardware Standards. For peripherals, please contact your department chair. Additional equipment is available for faculty use in the TEL Center (see Faculty Workspace). Also, there is a lab for students that allows them to scan documents and view videos. The room is located at F174 on the basement floor of Founders Hall. There are four computers with scanners and DVD and video cassette players. There is a student worker on hand to assist the student with the computers, scanners, and videos. When creating assignments for your students, please concern the type and availability of hardware/software in the student computer labs.
